Origin of Mind
Origin of Mind is a fashion brand who’s aim is to inspire creative dialogue around social crises in the US and abroad. The company designs and produces their own collections around specific social issues and partners with socially conscious brands who’s products they distribute through their marketplace. With each product sold Origin of Mind donates 10% of the profits to non profit partners who are doing positive work addressing social challenges around the world.
With fashion consumers and social activists being social media focused the company decided it was time to elevate their online presence. Origin wanted to sure up their Instagram feed by honing in on content that fostered engagement and fine tuning their messaging to resonate with their following on an even deeper level. This growing brand already had a strong mission and dedicated following. Now it was time to set them up with a strong foundation upon which to grow.
Given Origin of Mind's goals a strategy was developed catering to a balanced combination of sales and branded messaging, a consistent frequency of social post distribution and a blend of content that brought value to the audience and fulfilled their expectations as a brand. Strategic guidance for the company’s public relations, advertising and email marketing approach for upcoming product launches was also provided.
This strategy was successfully implemented across the brands social media covering communications for their business and non profit partners, numerous instagram lives and Origin’s Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday sales and fundraising messaging. The brand saw a 12% increase in their social media following during our time working together.
